100-Year Design Life Inspection
Since 2010, PennDOT has required that all newly installed stormwater pipes undergo a 100-year design life inspection. This inspection includes a CCTV inspection followed by a laser profile to precisely measure pipe diameter, deflection, deformation, and cracks or joint issues. The non-contact laser profiling ensures an accurate assessment of the pipe’s condition.
