What does a CCTV Inspection Identify?

Structural Defects

Cracks, fractures, corrosion, collapsed sections, and misaligned or offset joints that may compromise pipe integrity.

Obstructions

Tree root intrusion, grease accumulation, debris, and other foreign materials that restrict or block flow.

Infiltration / Inflow (I/I)

Evidence of groundwater or surface water entering the pipe system, indicating leaks, joint failures, or structural breaches.

Pipe Characteristics

Confirmation of pipe size, material, alignment, and the location of service laterals for accurate documentation and planning.

CCTV Actions & Results

Camera Insertion

A high-resolution, full-color inspection camera is attached to a flexible push cable or a self-propelled robotic crawler and inserted into the pipeline through an access point such as a manhole or cleanout.

Live Video Feed

The camera transmits real-time video to an operator above ground. Integrated lighting illuminates the interior of the pipe, allowing for clear visibility and accurate assessment throughout the inspection.
